People are distracted by objects of desire,

and afterwards repent of the lust they’ve indulged,

because they have indulged with a phantom

and are left even farther from Reality than before.

Your desire for the illusionary is a wing,

by means of which a seeker might ascend to Reality,

When you have indulged a lust, your wing drops off;

you become lame and that fantasy flees.

Preserve the wing and don’t indulge such lust,

so that the wing of desire may bear you to Paradise.

People fancy they are enjoying themselves,

but they are really tearing out their wings for the sake of an illusion.

(After the nightly zikir at the Osmanli Dergahi we read a sohbet of
Sheykh Mevlana Nazim which was given on April 24, 2004. It can be read at

Then Sheykh Abdul Kerim spoke thus:

Medet Ya Seyyidi Ya Sultanul Awliya, Medet.

I was just intending, when I was making the zikir it came to my heart
to make this last sohbet to you. I made it a long time ago, if some of
you remember, about Musa (alayhi salam). A traveler passed through the
village and he was a disobedient one. They greeted him properly and
everyone got cursed because of that. I am intending to make that
village here. Anyone who will be coming here with that anger and with
that dirtiness must go out from here now and never come back again! I
am intending to do that. If I am not cutting (that one) today then
tomorrow I am going to. Either you are going to get rid of your dirty
characteristics, you are going to become like those people in that
village (through which Hazrat Musa was passing, they were all shining,
they were all patient, they were all good ones for Allah,) or you have
no place here. You have other places on this earth but you have no
place here. You have no place with me. Put that in your head and put
that in your heart. I am fed up with people calling themselves to
everyone in this world that they are the mureeds of Sheykh Mevlana,
including you, and yet coming here with these dirty characteristics.

You have some foolish things here and other people have some foolish
things on the internet day and night. Do you think that it is giving
high value to our Sheykh? Now, on the internet it’s going back and
forth that people are declaring that Sheykh Mevlana is Allah, or
giving him all the titles that are given to Allah. Is that what Islam
is ordering us? What foolishness happened to these people? Hmm? From
where are we getting these teachings? From the teachings that just
came (through the sohbet of Sheykh Mevlana that was just read)? When
was that sohbet given? What was the date of that sohbet? When was it
given? Say.

(A murid answers, `April 24, 2004′)

2004. In two years time Sheykh Mevlana changed his position? Huh? In
that sohbet he spoke everything. He said Who is all-Seeing and Who is
all-Knowing. He said Who is al-Musawwir. He said, “Out of six billion
people five is going to die.” He said it. Do you think that the one
billion staying left are all these people who are calling themselves
Muslims and going back and forth up and down like robots not
understanding Islam and not trying to take care of their egoistic
ways? Do you think those are the ones? Search yourself. Look at
yourself. Look and understand, “Am I from that five billion who is
going to burn and go or not?” Search yourselves sincerely. Don’t wait
for anybody to tell you. Look at yourselves to understand where you
are standing.

Don’t think that in the Divine Presence Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) is
separating people because you are belonging to this one or belonging
to that one. It’s only those who have taqwa. And those who have taqwa,
it must be showing in their manner, in their talk, in their action and
in their attitude. Not to get into that heedless station that some of
you just came to Islam yesterday and now you are thinking and giving
fatwa twenty-four hours a day. These words are for here and for all
those people who are sitting behind computers and talking all those
nonsense words about Sheykh Mevlana.

Sheykh Mevlana is a man. He is not higher than the Prophet (alayhi
salatu wa salam). No one has been created higher than the Holy Prophet
(sws). Prophet (sws) said, “Do not leave me to my ego for the blink of
an eye, Ya Rabbi.” Did Prophet (sws) say, “I am all-Seeing and I am
all-Hearing”? Is that what Sheykh Mevlana said now in that sohbet? Or
is he saying, “All-Knowing is only for the Creator”?

That’s exactly what they did to Jesus. Jesus didn’t say, “I am the
Lord.” But those foolish ones who were running after him and they said
that they love him, said that he is the Creator. He is God. And Allah
will question him on the Judgment Day saying to him, “Ya Isa! Are you
the one who said to them that you are the Lord?” And he is going to
say, “No, Ya Rabbi. It is known to You that it is not me.” And Allah
is going to say to him, “Where is your evidence? These billions are
saying that you said it and you are saying that you didn’t.” And Isa
(as) is going to show, saying, “Muhammad and his nation is my witness.”

What’s the matter with these people? Foolish ones! Do you think giving
that kind of titles to our Sheykh is putting Sheykh up or is it
putting him down in front of the whole world? Everyone is attacking
Sheykh Mevlana because of a couple of stupid people who just came to
tariqat yesterday. Who is giving authority to them? Sheykh Mevlana?
Did Sheykh Mevlana ever say, “These are my titles”? Or did Sheykh
Mevlana ever say to someone, “Go around and say these are my titles”?
Or is he always saying, “Ya Rabbi, grant us to be your better
servants”? Did he ever sit to speak, to make speech or sohbet without
saying `Medet’ either in the beginning or in the middle of the sohbet
or in the end? I have been watching him for over forty years and never
have I heard Sheykh Mevlana speaking about something without saying
`Medet’. How foolish these people became. And we are all running after
our own foolishness.

You must wake up before it’s too late. This is not a game. This is not
your egoistic game. You are servants. We are servants. Be happy that
you will be getting that title saying, “You are a servant.” That is
enough title. If Sheykh Mevlana is speaking about something, those who
understand, understand. If you don’t understand then don’t go around
spreading wrong words. You will be responsible in the Judgment Day.

I said to him one time, “This is what they are saying, Sheykh Mevlana.
This is what they are exaggerating about you. They are coming to you,
they are putting in front of you one cassette, one video, you say a
couple of words, they ask you a couple of questions, they take those
words, they go around using it on themselves and they are attacking
the whole world.” He said, “What can I do, my son? This is Ahir Zaman,
the end of times. Not much we can do.” Anyone who is going to do such
a thing like that, they are going to pay a price.

So it’s for me, for you and for everyone who is hearing, to know that
yes Sheykh Mevlana is the Sultanul Awliya, yes he is Mawlana and he is
the Sheykh of Sheykhs. We must wake up. We must wake up that he is a
man. He is a creature. He is not the Creator.

Selam aleykum to all members of the group,

This is the sohbet of Sheykh Mevlana Nazim that was read at the
Osmanli Dergahi on one night and this is the sohbet to which
Sheykh Abdul Kerim continuously referred to while addressing the issue
of people making undue claims about Sheykh Mevlana. Sheykh Abdul Kerim
said that this sohbet is enough to clear up everything about the issue
at hand and in it Sheykh Mevlana is saying who is all-Seeing and
all-Knowing.

Sohbet by Sheykh Mevlana Nazim al-Hakkani

April 24, 2004 – Cyprus.

Allah Almighty, al Musawwir, with His unlimited Power and Ability is
creating countless different faces by using the same elements of a
face: eyes, ears, nose and mouth- He is also designing the lives of
countless people and every day’s worldwide events never to be similar
one to the other- Allah has given man the authority to use an unknown
natural power, electricity, for their benefit, but Shaitan has made
man to use it for harming people and all technology is only used for
harming people- people are not taking care for Allah’s divinely
service, but only for their teacher Dr.Shaitan- Prophets teaching is
to be best servants for Allah and to do one’s best for His creatures,
but people prefer to be the slaves of Shaitan instead of keeping the
honour of being Allah’s servants and to receive His blessings, which
are giving life to everything on earth- the way for mankind
to be saved from heavenly cursing it to admit that they are on the
wrong way and to correct themselves- the cleaning has begun and
everyone who is not taking care to clean his soul and who is harmful
for other creatures- from 6 billion people 5 billion- they will die)

Audhu bi-llahi mina shaitani rajim, Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, la
haula wa la quwatta illa bi-llahi-l ‘Aliyu-l ‘Azim.By the name of
Allah Almighty, most Merciful, most Beneficent and most Magnificent.

Glory be to Allah, Subhan Allah, Sultan Allah- (the) real Sultanate
(is) for Allah only and He is Sultan, everything belongs to Him.
Everything is from His creation, He (is) creating (everything),
bringing (it) from unknown worlds and sending (it) to other unknown
worlds and (these) worlds also belong to Him.

An appearance on (a) mirror, or better than (a) mirror we may say
(about the) screen of a TV. You may look and see on the screen of a TV
(things) from East to West, from North to South, so many countries,
oceans, mountains, jungles, animals, and unknown areas, different
colours of people and everyone (is) just appearing in his private or
special looking. You can’t find a person to be similar to a second
one. (For) everyone(’s creation)(Allah Almighty) is using two eyes,
one nose, one mouth, two ears, one head, one face. And (through) these
elements (that He is) using-eyes, nose, mouth and ears- (the faces of
people are coming to be) in countless appearances.

How many people (there are)- their nose is going to be different,
their eyes may be different, their ears may be different, their mouth
may be different, and then (you are) looking (and seeing that it is)
going to be (a) different face, Allahu akbar!

Do you think a painter, an artist that (is) painting, (he) may be able
to paint more than we can say 7o (different) faces? 7o different faces
do you think he may paint? It is difficult. Perhaps seven faces he may
paint, then he is going to wonder for the eight face or wondering how
he may do another painting for ten (different faces) or more. (It is)
so difficult! That is the meaning that man’s capacity, ability is
going to be nothing, but Allah Almighty’s Power (is) bringing millions
and billions (of) people not to be similar. Each one (is) in another
shape, form or design. He is ‘Musawwir’, that means, Designer. He is
Designer and endless, countless designs He may do, Allahu akbar!
The Power of Allah Almighty and His Ability or Capacity (is) to do
everything. He is not in need to think for designing, no. You must
think and then you may draw, you may make a design. But He Almighty
Allah is doing everything by His Order. What is His Order, to say:
“Be!” When He is ordering for being something and saying: “Be”, that
must appear. If He is saying: “Don’t be”, then everything is going to
disappear. And He is Designer with His unlimited Power.

He is designing daily (the) lives of people. How many billions of
people living on earth now, on world, worldwide continents, worldwide
oceans and countless creatures on it, and the design of this world
today is not similar or same that was yesterday. No, that design (is)
just finished, coming today another design. (And) designs with
countless activities, actings, works, appearances, today (are) never
going to be similar to yesterdays design, no.

Today’s works (are) just 1oo % different; (there is) no way to keep
something from yesterday as it is today, no, (it) just passed away,
and tomorrow (is also) coming another appearance of creation or
designing on earth that is not going to be same as todays, no,
everything is changing.

And you are looking in TV so many things passing, going, passing,
going-coming and going. I was looking TV first time coming to Cyprus.
First time people were looking that big box and appearing (in it) so
many things, (and) one pheasant was getting up and going (to the)
back(side of the TV) and looking (if) anyone (is) behind it.”Where is
this that person? Not inside!” “Inside.” “But I am not seeing.” I am
saying: “That is closed”… People were thinking that someone is
inside. Now everyone (is) knowing that (that) screen is bring so
many countless appearances and when you are closing that one, making
(it) off, nothing is coming in appearance.

And, Subhanallah- Allah Almighty (is) giving an authority to man to
use one power- electricity. If this is not running in it, nothing is
going to appear. And we also have much more perfection. This TV is (a)
man made instrument; we are making it. Allah Almighty is giving a
power to man for using, some authority from this nature (and) that is
electricity. The life of 21st century’s technology (is) on this power,
electricity, that no one (is) knowing what it is. If (there is)
running something from one (side to the other and) what is running,
they are not knowing. If they are saying this beyond moving not moving
must be taken away (?). This (which is) never ending running, (this)
something in it, that is (a) secret power that Allah Almighty just
granted man to use for his benefit. But Shaitan (is) making man not to
use (it) for their benefit but to use (it) to harm someones other
ones. Whole technology is only used for Shaitanic purposes. Everywhere
technology (is) asking much more power from electricity to destroy and
to kill and to do to harm people, because Shaitan (is) teaching them:
“You must harm people. Don’t give your benefit to people, but as much
as possible harm people!”

That is (the) shaitanic way and Allah Almighty is saying: ” O My
servants! Try to give as much as possible your best (and) do your best
for everything!” That is heavenly teaching, but Shaitan is saying:
“No, try to make everything for harming people, to destroy everything
on earth, not to give peace to people. Make them to be in fear!” That
is shaitanic and whole religions are coming to make people to be good
servants to Allah and good ones to each other. That is (the) summary
of heavenly messages that the Lord of Heavens is saying: “Oh My
servants- that I am accepting your servanthood in My divinely
Presence- try to be excellent servants for Me!” How? What do
you think?

If a person is just employed for (the service of) a Sultan or a King-
do you think that that person is not trying to do his best for the
Sultan? Or (that) he is never taking any care? (No, but) he is trying
to make (the) Sultan or King to be much more pleased with him. That is
(what) our mentality (is) saying- (so) what about for Allah? For to be
the servant of (a) King, an obedient servant of (a) King, those people
are asking to continue to do their best for their King or Sultan, to
make him pleased with them. I never heard (that) a person (is) doing
against this (and) to do his worst, because when he is making his
worst, he is going to be kicked out.

That is not (what) our mentality or our mind (is) saying (to) us: Be
(the) worst one for His service. Never saying! But our mentality is
saying: Try to be much more obedient and trustworthy in his royal
presence. What about for Allah that He created you? Why you are not
taking care for His servanthood? You think that 21st century people
are obedient servants for their Lord or (they are) thinking on it?
Never, you can’t find (anyone); only a handful people to be on that
way and others (are) saying: “I don’t care. I don’t care for service
for divinely service.” “What is your care?” “I am taking care for my
teacher who is giving to me PhD, doctor Shaitan.”

Shaitan (is) becoming doctor now, PhD. (In the) 21st century Sadanas
(is) becoming Doctor. PhD, Masterhood (he is) giving now. Who is
following him, (he is) giving to them that diploma, honour, (the)
honour to be his best employees, to be (his) best servants. But
(really they are) not servants, they are (his) slaves! Slavery is
something, and servanthood is something else. Servanthood is giving
honour to (a) person, slavery (is) taking honour from people. And
Shaitan just made (the) whole nation (of Muhammad sws) through the
21st century to be his slaves and (there is) slavery everywhere;
what Shaitan is saying they are following. They are never taking any
respect for their Creator, the Lord of Heavens.

What do you think, what is going to be (the future) for these people?
And we are speaking on an important point: that from (the) beginning
of prophecy Prophets teaching is only on two pillars: One (is that
they are) calling people to try to be best servants for their Lord,
and (the) second (is that they are calling people) to be good ones to
teach other and to give their best to everyone. As much as possible
you must give your best to every creature, even you must not harm
anything. We are looking an ant- if you are asking to kill it, it is
running away, fearing to be killed. Without harming you are running to
kill (it)? And He created that one and it has a private position
through creation. Nothing is created for nothing, everything (is)
created for something, for some purposes. You can’t say: “Why this is
created?” No. You don’t know, but the Creator is knowing and therefore
He is creating that.

People (are) on (the) wrong way, they are following shaitanic
teachings that (are) saying: “As much as possible harm people, give
trouble to them, be trouble makers”, because (the) first troublemaker
who was (it)? (The) first troublemaker was Shaitan, Sadanas. When
Allah Almighty was ordering: “Bow to Adam” he was saying: “No”, making
trouble, making trouble through whole angels. Angels were ashaming
(for) what he did in (the) divinely Presence, saying “no”. And (the)
first troublemaker Shaitan and every kind of troublemakers are
Shaitans, Sadanas. That is shaitanic teaching that is bringing the
whole world now on the edge of Hell.

O people! You have been ordered to be from mankind! Keep you honour
and your honour is to be best servants in divinely Presence and when
you are going to be best servants for the Lord of Heavens (it is)
coming on you blessings and (these) blessings (are) giving life to
this earth and everything on it. But if you are not giving your
servanthood to your Lord, cursing (is) coming and cursing (is) giving
harm to everything on earth. May Allah forgive us!

Once S.Musa was passing through a village and (he was) entering and
finding a spring running, so cold and sweet water. Just he drank and
(he was) making ablution and he was so keen to be there, happy and
passing through. Everything (was) green, areas, meadows, people’s
faces (were) shining, their animals, cattle so happy, so healthy and
so clean weather breathing, Everything (was) okay, he was so happy. He
passed. After a while he was thinking to come and to see once again
that village and he came and l(he was) looking: “Where is that
village? I am coming (to) a wrong place? What happened? But I know
that I (was) coming through that same way, (and there is) no any other
village in that area. But what happened?

(the) spring (is) no more running, (there is) no more water, no more
people in it and (all the) trees (are) just dried and everything (is)
in ruins! And he was saying: “O my Lord, what happened? You know what
happened to such a people here, where they went (and) how their
village was destroyed?” And Allah Almighty was answering: “O Musa, it
is the same village. But once (there) was coming a person who was
never taking any care for My obedience and servanthood. He came and he
was drinking from this water and he was entering passing through and
my divinely Anger was on him. My divinely Anger and Cursing was coming
on that person and (on the) people who were welcoming such a person
(and) I was making to dry that spring and to be everything dry. I was
taking My blessings for them and cursing was coming on them. This
is the same village that you have been here before.”

(And) now- what you are saying? Everyone (is) never taking any care
for their Lord’s obedience. Everyone is running away, everyone is
thinking only for their Dunya, this life, nothing else. They are never
taking care for their Lord’s obedience, they (are) never taking care
to be a good servant of Allah Almighty and therefore cursing (is)
coming on them. Every time you are looking this TV (you see)
explosion, explosion, explosion.people dying, earth quakes, floods,
storms and fires and also countless illnesses coming on people, one
(is) finishing (and) another one (is) coming, one (is) finishing,
(and) another unknown cursing (is) coming on them.

Therefore the way of mankind to be saved from heavenly cursing and to
reach heavenly blessings is that they must say: “Our way now is (the)
wrong way. We must change this wrong way to right way” or all of them
are going to finish. And now just began a cleaning. (It) just began
and everyone who is not taking care for their souls to be clean, they
should be taken away. Not only (a few): “Ohhh, ten people died,
fifteen people died, hundred people died.” – leave that! Even
“millions” (are) never going (to be) a real account of people (that
are going to) die when (the heavenly) cursing (is) coming now!
I am running to Allah, to His shelter to be sheltered, because
billions of people are going to die now. Billions, not millions! From
6 one (is) remaining and 5 (are) going to be taken away. He knows! He
knows who is harming people, who is harmful for people and (He is)
taking them away. Good ones (are) remaining, bad ones (are) going away.

May Allah forgive us and give us a good understanding for heavenly
Messages!

It is written also in the Old Testament, (in the) New Testament, in
(the) Psalms and finally in the last Message from Heavens, the holy
Quran. (They are) saying (the) same point to people: to be good
servants, not to be Shaitan’s followers. May Allah forgive us to be in
safety! For the honour of the most honoured one in the divinely
Presence, S.Muhammad sws, Fatiha.

Medet Ya Seyyidi Ya Sultanul Awliya, Medet.

An incident happened. It just fits to you and to me to understand the
story of a man who was still in the way of Allah and who was keeping
the orders one hundred percent. Only one thing he did.

LAST DAYS OF THE CALIPHATE

In the time of Sultan Abdul Hamid Khan (Jannat Mekat), during the last
days when there was confusion everywhere and Sultan Abdul Hamid Khan
is almost alone. He doesn’t have too many helpers around. So many helpers
became betrayers and he cannot trust them. And among some of them whom
he was trusting there was one general in the army, high level general.
Mehmet Aqif Ersoy is saying, he is giving the story how it happened.
He said that after the Sultan passed from this world, Khilafat was
removed and curse started coming down on mankind. When the Khilafat is
removed then curse is coming anyway. You don’t need to hear it for
yourself. Non-stop curse is coming down to mankind saying, “You are
the ones who removed the Khalifah.” And curse is coming down. From
that time until now. That’s why we are not accepting their system,
their democracy-hypocrisy system. Anyone who is accepting that, it’s
showing that they don’t want the Khalifah, they don’t want that
ruling. That’s why they are praising democracy. The Khilafat, that’s
what Allah wants.

THE OLD MAN IN SULTAN AHMED MOSQUE

So Mehmet Aqif Ersoy is saying, “Every morning I go to Sultan Ahmet
Mesjid, mosque, Jamii. I go early in the morning and next to the
Mihrab I see an old man. His hair and his beard is complete white,
snow-white. He is continuously crying. Anytime I am going I finding
that man crying. From the outside I am seeing that he is the first one
in the mesjid. But he is continuously sitting, making tesbih and
crying. One day I came near him and I said to him, “Oh holy one, why
are you crying so much? Are you cutting yourself from the mercy of
Allah? Is that why you are crying? The mercy of Allah is coming.” He
(also) said, “Oh, you are looking at outside and what they did (by
removing the Khilafat.). What a foolish thing they did. That’s why you
are crying.”

He (the old man) said to him, “Don’t make me speak. My heart will
stop.” He said, “Please Speak. Say.” He said, “I will tell you.” He
said, “I was a high general in Sultan Abdul Hamid’s (Jannat Mekan)
time. My parents passed away. In the area of Izmir we had so much land
and farm. So I sent my resignation letter to the Sultan asking for him
to acquit me from the army. And Sultan right away send me the message
back saying, “No, we cannot afford to send you away anywhere now.
There is a big problem waiting for us and I need a couple of people
like you. So I will not approve what you are asking.” He said, “I was
sad. But we had so much work to do. One day I needed to go to Istanbul
and I said to myself, `Now that I am here, let me go to visit the
Sultan.’” He said, “Because I had a big authority, I could just go and
visit him.” The Sultan’s door at that time was open early in the
morning for everybody. Not even the Mayor open the door today for
people. The door of the Ottoman Sultan was open. People were coming
and complaining, asking and saying. This was in the worst time.

IN THE PRESENCE OF THE SULTAN

So he said, “I came to the Sultan. He was sitting on his table. He
looked at me and he put his head down. He was not looking at me
anymore.” He said, `Your Majesty, I sent you a letter’, and instantly
he said to me very strongly, `I sent you the answer back.’ He said,
`Yes, that’s why I am here now to ask you because this is the excuse I
have.’ The Sultan was shaking his head. He was not looking at me and I
asked to be released again. So he just raised his head, looked at me
so strongly and said, `So what can I do?’ He said to me, `What can I
do? You are asking so much? Go away.’ He released him. Finished. The
Sultan just waved his hand like that. In our tradition, if someone
speaks to you and says, “Okay, go”, it means, “I am not happy with you
anymore”, and they move the back of their hand to you. When they say,
“Go with blessings”, it’s like this, with the palm of the hand towards
you. But when it’s with the back of the hand, in proper manner it
means, “Get lost.” He said, “That action just finished me. But what
can I do? I cannot take that back anymore too, and I came.”

HOLY PROPHET (SWS) INSPECTING THE OTTOMAN ARMY

“Very short time later, so many incidents happened that I understood
why Sultan didn’t want me to be released.” He said, “But one night I
saw a dream. In the dream I saw the Ottoman Army. They were all in
straight lines. All generals were in front of the army and Sultan
Abdul Hamid Khan came and he was saluting them. And the Prophet (sws)
was standing in front of him and he (the Sultan) was saying, “Ya
Rasulullah, the army of Islam is ready. As you like. Give order. We do
as you like.” He (the old man) said, “Everyone was seeing the Prophet
(sws) except me. When I was looking from far I was seeing the Prophet
(sws) like a moon, shining. But I couldn’t see the Prophets (sws). But
the Sultan and all the army were seeing the Prophet (sws).”

“And Prophet (sws) looked at the army from the beginning and he came
to the end and the battalion, the group at the end was supposed to be
under my authority. But I wasn’t there. So all the soldiers were very
sloppy. They were not in order. The Prophet (sws) looked at the Sultan
very strongly and said to the Sultan, `Ya Sultan! Where is the general
of that group of people?” And the Sultan put his head down saying, “Ya
Rasulullah, that one wanted early retirement. I didn’t want to send
him to early retirement but he asked several times. So I couldn’t say
`no’ to him anymore. So I sent him to retirement. I sent him away.”
The Prophet (sws) looked at him and said, “Ya Sultan! The one that you
send away, we are also sending away from our association.”

He said, “After that day, I never slept at night. I am crying non-stop
but I am not seeing any dreams. After that day I left everything. I
left all the belongings to the people. Allah is sending my sustenance
but I lost. I didn’t see the Prophet (sws) and after that I have never
seen any good dreams anymore.”

ALLAH IS NEVER SECOND

This is not a joke. This is real. Real-real, if you understand what
that means you will cry a lot then. If you don’t understand then you
are a donkey. What can we do? The way you live, that’s how you will
die. The way you will die, that’s how you will be raised. This is
hadis-e sharif. If you keep Allah priority then Allah keeps you
priority. If you keep Allah second class then you just finished
yourself. Allah is never second. If the whole world says, “We keep
Allah second”, Allah is not second. Allah is first. It is a blessing
for man just to understand (the favor of) Allah’s granting permission
to man to praise Allah. As Sheykh Mevlana is saying, “Live for Allah.
Live for Allah and die for Allah.” It is a blessing to you. And Allah
is asking then, “What does My servant want? Give it to him.” And when
you say, “Ya Rabbi, I want, I want”, He says, “Whatever you want. When
you are in My service I give you everything. You say that you love me,
I love you and I am yours too. I am in your service.” Allah is in our
service. What service do we give to Allah? What do we do, huh? Just
getting up and going up and down. Is that the service we give to
Allah? Does that fit to His Majesty?

He gives everything to us and we cannot give anything back. The only
thing is just to keep His orders, to try to keep His orders. Then you
are honoring yourself. Allah is granting you more honor all the time.
Anyone who leaves Allah, who runs away from Allah, they are losing
their honor in Dunya and they are losing their honor in Akhirat. This
much is enough for you and for me. No? Also for me, and for you, and
for `X’. Are you sleeping `X’? Or did he leave? Do you get it now?
Hmm. Anybody who takes it, takes it to themselves too. Anybody who is
saying, “This sohbet does not include me”, it’s okay. You don’t have
to say IT. Just keep it inside to yourself. Look what happens.

THE RETIRED GENERAL OF TURKEY

Priority is Allah. If you are not living for Allah then Allah is
saying to us, “If you are not opening your hand to ask from Me, what
is your value?” Understanding? He says, “What is your value?” Value of
a donkey or a horse, or an animal? No. He is saying, “No. Not even
that because that animal is valuable. You, those who are not keeping
Allah priority have no value in Dunya and Akhirat. You can give them
as much titles as you want. It’s only temporary.” They are saying,
“Retired. Take that name from the table, take out the uniform, go home
and wait to die.” Retired. That’s what it means. So all titles are gone.

Yesterday there was a General in Turkey, the General of the whole
army, the head master. The man had all power in his hand. Last month
he was the General. This month the uniform is out, everything is out
and he is just a normal person in the streets. Finished. All power is
gone. He cannot even go back to his office anymore, that office which
he was occupying. He could’ve turned the country upside down if he
wanted. He cannot (even) enter to that office (now). Finished. Titles
are gone and everything is gone.

Whatever he did for Allah in that station that’s what he won. If he
did something for Allah then he won. If he didn’t then he lost Dunya
and he lost Akhirat. This one at present now, the same thing will
happen to that one. This one at present in this country, the same
thing will happen to that one. To everywhere. Don’t look at how many
people are saying `mashallah’ and cheering. No. How many days? How
many years? Four years, five years or ten years? Eight years. Not more
than that. Later, go home. After having all that power they cannot sit
home too. Big problem then to them.

So be happy with what Allah has given to you. If you are happy with
Allah then Allah is happy with you. If you are not happy with Allah,
you are not going to bother Allah because you are not happy with
Allah. But if Allah is not happy with you then disaster is waiting.
